Starr King K-8 principal, Gelika Harrison, and curriculum specialist, Amber Tretheway, happily received 100 backpacks and support supplies for the teachers and 900 students arriving a few days later to the campus. All backpacks were tagged “Wishing you joy in your learning! From your friends at St. Michael’s Church.” Staff members are also thrilled to be considering uses for the $1,225 donated in cash offerings. These donations certainly have given a boost to children and teachers as they embark on a new school year. They are greatly appreciated!
