Let the Children Come to Me
Godly Play is offered for all children ages 3-5th grade on Sunday mornings at 10am during worship in the Godly Play Room, located where the old conference used to be. Students get to participate in a Bible story followed by an activity, craft, and play time. To join Godly Play please check in your children at the table in the Parish Hall marked Godly Play and the class then goes to the Godly Play room. Students will be brought into worship just before Eucharist so they can participate.
Godly Play is a Montessori based curriculum that brings Bible stories to life through fun and engaging story telling. To learn more you can find information here.
Inquire about baptisms
We baptize at any age at St. Michaels. If you are interested in having your child, student, or yourself baptized we would love to have a conversation. Please contact the office to set up a time. (916)488-3550
Nursery
We have our nursery open from 9:30am until noon Sunday mornings. Children up to 5 are invited to join in the fun! Our nursery gathers in the Parish Hall Sunday mornings at 10am and then joins the Godly Play class for a story and then has playtime following.
