It is the belief of the Episcopal Church that education should be fostered at all levels and ages within the church. We are so excited to introduce our newest member of Staff: Pastor Katie Holeman! She will be working with Children, Youth, and Young Adults. Our current program is in a rebuild phase. Please be patient, good things are coming!

St. Michael’s Episcopal Church and Trinity Cathedral invite you to join us for
Vacation Bible School!
August 1st – 5th at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church
2140 Mission Ave. Carmichael, 95608.
Our hours will be 8:00 a.m. till 12:00 noon with early drop off beginning at 7:30 and late pick-up until 12:30.
Kids from age 4 to 5th grade are welcome!
$30 per child, $20 for each additional sibling.
6th – 12th grade youth are welcome to join us as counselors; this is a great opportunity for service hours!

Let the Children Come to Me
Nursery
We have our nursery open from 9:30am until noon Sunday mornings. Children up to 5 are invited to join in the fun! If you are older and have siblings in the nursery, you are invited to come and help out!
Sunday School
Sunday School is on hold now. We hope to have Sunday School classes online soon!
We typically have class during 10am Sunday worship from September though May and nursery workers serve year round, 9:30am until noon. In light of the current COVID conditions, Godly Play, and continues to be on hold until further notice. Please contact the office 916.488.3550 with any questions.
Godly Play
Children ages 3 through 5th grade are encouraged to come and learn about their faith through the stories of Godly Play. Godly Play uses tactile manipulatives, storytelling, and creative work time to help children understand Bible stories, learn about Jesus’ life and seasons in the church.
Youth Group
Youth meet periodically in the Friendship room for connection and conversation. Call the office 916.488.3550 for more information.
Scholarships
The Scholarship committee is proud to extend a College Scholarship each year to the children and grandchildren of members of our congregation. Call the office for more information .
