Licensing and Training

Several of the ministries that serve in worship have necessary training when one would like to participate.  Some require licensing by the Episcopal Diocese of Northern California.  In the descriptions of each ministry, indication will be made how training is offered and whether licensing is required.

Acolytes

Acolytes assist the clergy with worship leadership during worship service. They lead processions, raise the spirit in the church with flying doves, assist in the proclamation of the Gospel, and assist the priest and deacon at the altar.  We have opportunities for adults, children and youth in this ministry.  Training is on-going.  No licensing required.
