Transition Status: Stage Four
The process for calling a new Rector has four stages. We are at Stage Four of the Search process:
- Stage One was sending Rev Mary off in style which was accomplished with great success. Thank you all who participated and donated.
- Stage Two was to find an Interim Rector who can help with the day to day administration and become a part of the spiritual leadership team as we progress on our journey in calling a new rector. We are thrilled to have Rev. Andrew Lobban as our Interim Rector.
- Stage Three was developing a Parish Profile. We have a lot of information about who we are, what we do, and who we need as a person to lead us forward. This process of discernment was completed and approved by the Bishop in early 2025.
- Stage Four is the Search process. Recruiting candidates, screening applications forwarded by the Bishop’s Office, interviewing, and selecting an applicant. Once the person is selected, the Bishop approves, and we negotiate a contract and set a start date. Applications will be forwarded by the Bishop’s Office in early-mid April.
