New Reflections on a Storied Season

In this year’s Lenten series, Rev. Andy and Marilyn McEntyre will be leading reflections on the purposes and themes of the season, the ways we can reclaim ancient words for our own historical moment, and the question of how to read–and reread– biblical stories. We will meet on the Sundays of Lent starting on Sunday, March 9th in the Friendship Center at 11:45am. Each week we’ll focus on a theme (Fasting on March 9, Listening on March 16, Solitude on March 23, Repentance on March 30 and Imagination on April 6), a few passages of scripture, and the ways those stories summon us now.
